Highlands Fire Department is comprised of various types of positions. If you are interested in joining us, please find the position that fits your skill set below and fill out the application associated with that position.


  • Volunteer Firefighter Application

    Volunteer Firefighter Applications can be downloaded  from our website (HVFD_Volunteer_Membership_Application) or picked up at Station 17 (123 San Jacinto Street Highlands, TX 77562) and will need to be dropped off at Station 17.  Completed applications can also be emailed to firechief@hcesd14.net.

  • Part Time Paid Firefighter Application

    Part Time Paid Firefighter Applications can be downloaded  from our website (Part Time Paid Firefighter Application) or picked up at Station 17 (123 San Jacinto Street Highlands, TX 77562) and will need to be dropped off at Station 17.  Completed applications can also be emailed to firechief@hcesd14.net.

  • Paid EMS Application

    Paid EMS applications can be downloaded  from our website (EMS Application) or picked up at Station 17 (123 San Jacinto Street Highlands, TX 77562) Application will need to be dropped off at Station 17. Completed applications can be emailed to firechief@hcesd14.net. Minimum two years 911 experience preferred.
