Tank fire at Lynchburg Landing

Tuesday, June 18, 2013 Tuesday afternoon Highlands Fire Department responded to a tank fire at the Lyncburg Landing. Engine 17, Tanker 17, Rescue 17, Engine 27, Tanker 27 and a Crosby Tanker were the initial responding units. Highlands requested Harris County Hazmat but they were unable to respond due to being on another incident. Highlands then requested City of Baytown Hazmat. Units were able to apply a foam blanket to extinguish the fire.
